help needed Roland SP300v

hi all i have a Roland sp300v its been printing absolutely perfect but over the last 6 months its giving me pinch roller error right then left then looking like its read the material but 0.0 comes up for the distance but always worked after a couple of attempts then works all day without a problem but just lately its got a lot worse and yesterday I'm finding it hard to accept the material full stop now looking on the internet i found this site saying it could be the the cut carriage cable and were could i purchase one from in uk and how hard of a job is it to do yourself

More than likely that cable needs replaced. It isn't a hard job to do yourself, just rather time consuming since so much of the machine has to be taken apart.
