Help! Networking SP540V

I can't seem to find the printer on the network. I have it connected to a switch and the computer connected to the switch. I downloaded Intercon-Nettool and it doesn't find the printer. I reset the print server using the reset procedure and it still doesn't find it. What do I do?

Found my problem. I had the printer connected directly to the switch, but the computer was connected to a VOIP router. The router was assigning a network address, but not allowing communication with the printer. Moved the computer over to the switch and everything started working.
