Export Import

From Corel arrange drop down menu... for Vector results Select (may need to be selected a couple of times during the process) and try converting to curves, break apart, ungroup, X away the outline with the the calligraphy tool, Blacken, wireframe, export as eps. under the name export....From Flexi, import the Export.eps file and save as what you want to call it.

PS Be sure to delete duplicates before exporting too.

Flexi will SOMETIMES import a .cdr.... best I can say. Sometimes yes, sometimes now. But it butchers them, had it change all my color values once.

I'd get corel, illustrator, freehand... all of the programs. Then when you get a file, just open it and save it as something generic and you won't run into issues. That's what I did and yet to fail me.

If you get corel, try saving as an early .ai file, and it will open in Flexi beautifully.

CDR is in the flexi import list, but I get the "File Format Not Supported" message also.

Like Flame said, export the Corel file as an .ai file, and it imports into flexi perfectly.
I always use .ai version 1.1
It keeps everything like it should be. Some of the other file types result in
broken lines, and a lot of flat spots in rounded areas.

I just use flexi for cut jobs...not print work, so not sure how color gradients, etc...
would come in, might be broken into segments?

?

for my experience Flexi works great with adobe products, and files ( photoshop, illustrator) .cdr files are corel and I always have problem with corel>flexi......
I use .eps , .ai . or any bitmat format....
and even if you can import the file you have a lot issues with colors, and edit vector, etc,etc....
