help sign Molding

We installed a 8 x 16 foot digital printerd graphic laminated with vinyl laminate and mounted to 040 alumumium then screwed to a brick a
wall 2 years ago. I went by the sign 2 days ago when the customer complained that it was stained, it looks like black mold I have never seen a sign mold before have anyone out there ever seen this?

unless you're talking about "streaks" from non-stainless fastners, then I would say its not your problem, but rather his building. Do you have any type of a drip-edge across the top?

We really need a picture here.

ps. 8' x 16' using .040? Hope that has a backer of some sort.
