there was a job printing and i heard a crunch/snapping noise from the printer and go over and see this piece sitting on the material, any idea what it is and where it came from? i'm thinking it came from somewhere on the print head, it has a QR label but it wont scan cause it's too small, has numbers on it - 6EW3533 VTVTVWR R

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
The fact that it broke off it very concerning as it should never be close enough to something to actually break. I would do a good inspection of the head area with the covers off and try to see what it might of hit and if there is any more damage. The tab just holds the sticker but if it hit hard enough to break, there could be more damage to the head and it might have thrown off you alignments as well. Have you tried printing anything after it broke?

I just started printing a banner and it seems to be printing fine, i dont see any clearance issues and referencing where the broken piece was laying I think it somehow contacted the left pinch roller... usually when ive had material bunch up and interfere with the print head it has stopped the machine, but this time the print head kept printing, it's almost like the piece just kinda fell off... the sound it made wasn't very loud and my office is VERY quite, so when there's an issue with the machine I hear it very easily

Def do a manual cleaning so you can take a good look under there. Never heard of that before.
