Help to replace long print head cables (Carriage cable card) sp540V

I need to replace long print head cables Also called Carriage cable card, or Slider cable card, or Long flat cable card
, the ones that go from headboard to main board and



Any instructions, suggestions would be appreciated.(it's not described in service manual)

I need to do the same thing. Can you explain how you did this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before I did mine I put a piece of tape on the metal in front of the cables. That way I could write down/mark all the locations and number of pieces etc... Then I took a ton of pictures. That way when I reassembled there was no question or confusion where stuff was supposed to go.

Also used the old cables to pull the new ones into their locations. Then I had my wife plug in all the cables since her hands are much smaller.

Just take your time. It probably took us three hours from start to finish, but it fired right up with no issues.
