Help with these fonts

    Hey font gods.....i need your help once again....what are the fonts used here. Specifically the "S" and the skinny black text. thanks!

    a little small...

    S = arial black...

    rest looks like arial normal...

    Thats what I thought...but no.... there are subtle differences.

    The "S" looks like Helvetica. Arial's terminals are visibly slanted.

    arial black 'S' has perfectly horizontal terminals

    how does that findmyfont software work....do you like it? was it worth the 50-60 bucks?

    Then you must have a rare version of Arial. Either that or it is a re-named Helvetica Black.

    Every version of Arial I have ever seen has slanted terminals.

    If you can Jhill, post what the "G", "R" and "a" characters look like from your "Arial Black"

    Arial has had slanted terminals since its inception. Who's the publisher of the version you have? Look at the terminal of the G you just posted. Doesn't match the S...

    monotype verrsion 2.40 -- its the system arial installed by microsoft im imagining

    yeah wierd I found another arial black made my monotype in my bitstream fontset that has the angled terminals on the S -- I'm not gonna try and replace it however, as it may screw with some older files...too small of a difference for me to worry about...thx for the lesson however :thumb:
