I have a Mimaki DS-1800 and i am running Wasatch. My printer has been shutting off 4 of the 8 heads during printing and changing my pass count. I was thinking this may be something with the computer of the rip software but now today the heads are firing but the head alignment is way off out of no where. I two different sets of inks in the machine, the front heads are used for acid dye inks and the rear heads are used for reactive inks. The first problem in more detail is when i am running the acid dye inks they turn off and the reactive inks take over and change the pass count from 8 pass to 4 pass during the middle of the run.
