HEPLLL!!! ...crooked print

Hello, I have an issue where the banner roll is straight, but the image I am printing is crooked as it prints. EXAMPLE: the box starts at 2" from left side, and slowly moves to 4" on left side. HAve had this printer for 3 years now, it never happened before. This was a 2 foot long banner.

I've seen this happen with a vinyl cutter. I just slowed the speed down a bit an dit was fine.

I think it is a dirty decoder strip. I cleaned it and it seems to be a little better

yeah decoder strip or the decoder board just had mine replaced and everything runs great! Knock on wood!

+1 for encoder strip...clean or replace.

It is either a dirty encoder strip or an encoder module that had had it.

Clean the encoder strip and see what happens. If it still persists, then its likely the encoder module. I had to replace mine after about 3 years of use.

DOH!!! ... I replaced the strip a few months ago, that module board sounds expensive.
KNOCK on WOOD, after cleaning the strip it is running nice... shhhhh
