Hello Everyone :)

Going back into the sign business :) Years ago I did just cut vinyl but had to move on to other things and move closer to family. We just got a nice little contract for making up small decals for a company and decided to get back into the business again. We have a nice commercial location with lot's of companies driving by our store front on a daily basis. I would love to get some advice and help on how we should lay out our front windows??

We purchased a 60-SRIII Cutter, a 54" Laminator and a Mimaki CJV150-130 with Double White, Orange and LT Black ink configurations. I have been out of the loop for a while and this is newer technology to me but I kept up some of my Illustrator skills.

Here is a pic of the front of the building that we have.

Any thoughts or advice would be very helpful :)

Thanks in advance.

Looking good bud, I have the same machine (cjv150-160). And it works great and very versatile. With that being said, you have beautiful windows that allow you to showcase what you do. Use them to your advantage. Looking forward to seeing some of to your work

Hi how do you find the Mimaki cjv-160? I was looking at the Rolan BN-20 but came across the Mimaki CJV-150. Any advice you can offer would be great :) very new to the printing industry and mainly specialise in mining but have decided to get a vinyl print & cut. I have the same Mimaki 60-SR and it’s great. Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. I’ve been told a few times to get a Roland but budget is limited and I really don’t want a huge printer
