Hi folks, Andy here and let me thank you all for the wealth of knowledge provided by all the good folks here at :signs101:.
I am getting involved with this community so I can learn about entrepreneuirship in the sign biz. My wife is the graphic desiger and I am more of a hardware guy but we are very excited about this venture.
She want to do dye-sub or heatransfers on hemp hand and grocery bags for sale at the many counterculture festivals in Oregon. It is also her goal to do vinyl for wall and window decoration for her friends, family, and clients.
It is my goal to do custom decals, and decals both full color and monochromatic targeted for enthusiast markets of which I have particular intrest. (sorry no versacam or mimaki yet) I also want to show my kids the values of small commerce.
We will be ordering our 24" inch graphtech cutter, a printer using DURAbrite inks and appropriate coated vinyl, frog juice, vinyl, and some tools. We will save our dye-sub or heat transfer gear purchases for round two when I get back from Iraq.
Well thats all for now, my wife and I have tons of reading to do so adios,
