Hi all,
Yep, I'm in the UK and looking for some professional advice. I have looked at the forums and there are obviously a lot of well seasoned pro's contributing to the site so hopefully I have come to the right place.
I'm the MD of a plastics processing company in the UK producing Vacuum Formings, Plastic Fabrications and Point of sale displays for a wide range of clients including private and corporate. (see www.techplas.co.uk)
We are looking into setting up an in-house digital printing facility mainly to enable us to better control our POS requirements. We put a fair amount of work out to contractors including digital and silk-screen printing but our customers lead times are sometimes so short that our suppliers just cannot react fast enough and it's that situation we need to be able to resolve. So I have a few questions that I am hoping you good people can help me with, I could ask the printer sales guys but I need info from people whose use the equipment and not a guy on sales commission. I will post in the appropriate forums and hopefully someone can give me some good advice!
