This is a great board, I've already picked up several tips just browsing. My background is 10 years as a graphic designer with in-house production of exhibit graphics, displays etc.

Like most designers, I took up freelance work and found that I really enjoyed doing vinyl work—mostly decals (small runs) signs and banners. I've always liked seeing my work through from concept to something tangible. Plus it's cool to get away from the computer and make something with my hands once in a while. Lately, I've been taking on bigger projects that I am less experienced with, so I will probably be in the materials forum as well as the pricing & marketing forums next.

So that's it.
