Hockey rink signs

Greetings!

Looking for recommendations as to a heavy duty laminate for going over hockey rink signage. We currently use a regular vinyl laminate (3 mil?) but, of course, it gets beaten up pretty quickly. Looked into Convex 12mil, but wondered what else might be suitable (and perhaps not as spendy)?

reverse print on clear, laminate with white clear adhesive vinyl, mount to backside of clear polycarb.

Substance medias are awesome!! I use most of their medias daily. Awesome stuff. Matt over there is great to work with too.
