    its a chia-pet routing machine made from legos!

    I assume he just bought a CNC router kit and replaced mechanical parts with assorted lego blocks/gears? As the control panel doesn't exactly seem "home-made"

    The "control box" is made by Lego. Lego has a robot, these are parts and controls from it.

    Says right in the video, the only part not Lego is the drill bit.
