How do I arch a word using Flexi Sign Pro 10.5

I am a new Flexi user. I am trying to take the word BUFFALO and arch the bottom of it in a rainbow shape. I don't want the top of the letters to arch, only the bottom, so it looks like the side-view of a bridge. How do I do this? Thanks!

Also, is there an easy way to add a "bleed" to an object when applying a contour cut to it?

go to the distort menu..find the arched effect you want. on my older version its third down second row. then 'flip' the effect (it shows the F's laying down opposing each other) so the arch is at the bottom.

For your contour cut, set the parameters to -.01 or -.02 and it will cut just inside the object.

for your bleed, effects, underbase, separate underbase, weld by color, change to same color and then set the contour cut to a negative inside the underbase.
