how do I print film positives with dot pattern?

I am using corel draw 13. I went and made half tones of different parts of the artwork. I made them 80% on one and 30% on the other. For some reason it did not print the dots. It was like a bitmap. I am using a roland versacam. I got some clear film and loaded on. It prints the colors in black alright.

Halftone printing has to be done through postscript. You need to set the screen frequnecy, angle, stuff like that in the print options under seperations in Corel.
