How would I Put a white" halo" effect around the text so it will separate from the background?

Try this...
Interactive drop shadow>Presets>small glow then select white as the color. Then feather direction=average
Play with that. Opacity and feather "smoothness"

Thanks. I only have photo -paint and I'm not that good with it yet. I will be putting a action photo in the middle when they give it to me. I will wan to put the same effect on it as well
