How hot is it in your office?

Our offices usually sit at around 76. My office, which is also the art/print room, usually stayed around 74.

Our fabrication shop is technically air conditioned but it is just a metal shop. The LED sign on the wall with a temperature sensor showed as high as 109 last year. During the peak summer it averages around 100 or so. We keep the bay doors open and some big shop fans going. That along with an unlimited supply of Gatorade and it is still completely miserable.

When it gets that hot the shop guys will switch up their schedule and come in crazy early so they can be gone before the hottest part of the day.

Gotta love Arkansas summers.

Now thats downright cool hehe no pun intended. I have never seen that type of thing -- ofcourse we dont get that hot to often -- 80 here mostly but the humidity is outrageous

"Swamp" coolers are designed to cool in arid, dry climates, as they ADD humidity to the air. Here in Louisiana, if I had one, I WOULD DIE!!!! Everything would be SO wet, it would ruin. So those of you living in humid climates, you DON'T want one ... unless you like super damp everything, all the time .... eeeewwwww

Understood -- we usualy run around 80% and greater during the dog days of summer -- I also live a few blocks off a large lake.

I use a swamp cooler in the winter and summer to add humidity in the print room.
The gas heater and the air conditioner can crash the humidity level back there.
