How much do I charge?

What is the best rule of thumb for charging for your work? I don't want to charge too much nor do I want to give it away. Is there a good guide to follow?

I have that guide and like it, another idea I have heard is to take the guide and call around and get a quote for a couple items in the guide to get an idea of your local market price. I have not yet done this myself.

It will tell you what the market price is but more importantly it will tell you what types of jobs you should be doing.
