How to build election sign for trailer?

Will be building a double sided 8'x4' election sign for the back of a 10' trailer. Trailer has a wood deck that we can lag into. I have an idea of how I want to build the frame and brace it, but was wondering if anybody had a diagram or description of how they have done them in the past. Looking to save some time on this, couldn't find anything searching. Thanks for any help.

This is what I have in mind. The gap between the floor and the sign is there so the sign is above the side rails on the trailer.

Any thoughts?

Looks good and solid. I take it you're using 2x4 framing. Going to take a lot of abuse riding on a trailer.

I would make it an 'A' frame sort of set up. Regardless of when this is being used, it will be used in bad weather. A good wind come along, your set up has a much better chance of falling over. An 'A' frame won't near as much. It's also easier to read from buildings or just higher than street level.

Yes 2x4 framing. We considered doing more of an A frame, but thought they don't look as good. I'll double check with my customer and see if they are open to an A frame. Perhaps if we stick with this plan though, we might bring the angled braces up higher on the verticals to make it more stable. Thanks for your input guys.

you can use your current design and add cable rigging from the upright "blue" supports to the railing around the trailer.
This will eliminate the wind gusts
