how to change anchor pointd size...illustrator

I'm not sure I understand the question,

but when choosing the scale tool, the first left click sets the anchor point, then you can visually drag (maintaining proportions with the shift key) the object(s) to whatever new size looks good... OR, holding the alt key (or option ? on Mac) when you click to set the anchor point, you can enter exact values in the dialog box that pops up.

but what i am trying to do is change the size of those litle small tiny anchor points so i can click on them the first time and not having to put my face in the screen to catch em......lollll

I don't think you can but you might want to check preferences, under file or edit in the menu bar.

I believe that option is only on Illustrator CS3...
