How to determine if paint is Teflon based

Does anyone have any pointers on how to determine if a painted surface has Telfon ingredients?

About to quote for a job applying a wrap on some external building doors and they aren't sure what they were painted with.
Don't want to end up with something that won't stick.

Sorry, poorly worded question. The client isn't sure what the doors are painted with, so I need a method that is easy enough to explain to them how to find out how to do it.
A site visit isn't possible for a few weeks, so I'm hoping they can figure it out beforehand so I know whether a re-paint is required before install.

Mail them a piece of material and ask them if it sticks?
Still won't be 100% guaranteed but give yourself and out in the proposal just in case.
ie "This proposal is based on the surface being properly prepared for the application of the graphics.
Any priming/repainting to make surface receptive would be additional."
