Need Help HOW TO DISTRIBUTE LED LIGHTS

Hello group. Today I had to install indirect led lights in large letters. I have never done this before. I would like to know how I should distribute them so that they are all with the same luminosity. The letters are "VISO". They are 21" high. I calculate that the "I" should have 4 LEDs, but the "O" and "S" fit like 8. Can you help me with that? Is that so ?? Thanks in advance
