How to fix JV33 160 linear encoder sensor error

My Mimaki JV33 160 printer is showing : Error 08. Linear encoder sensor.
After cleaning the strip with alcohol it started to show this message , and not receiving new printing jobs at all.
What can I do. Please help ASAP.

Try to shut down printer, close main switch and disconnect from power bar 10 seconds and bring back together.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Double check that when you cleaned the encoder strip that it didn't pop out of the sensor. The sensor should straddle the strip. If it is not, it can give you this error. Also, make sure the sensor didn't become unplugged during cleaning. Also check the sensor to make sure a big clump of dust or fuzz isn't building up in there.
