"How to" question for Photoshop

When I select my Pen Tool, I don't have any "options" on the Options bar. What am I doing wrong? All the other tools have the options pop right up upon selection of that tool.

Anybody?

make sure you're on the actual pen tool. if you're on the pen+ or pen- tool the options disappear.

if you're not seeing the other pens - click (and hold down) on the pen tool in the toolbar and other pen tools will spring open for selection.

^ yup ... also in CS4 (and maybe CS3) you can select which tools appear in the toolbar by clicking the little tiny dropdown at the end of that bar.
