how to recreate this?

can someone show me how to recreate the swirl part of this logo...i want to learn...please...

Convert to a black and white bitmap then do a quick trace.
Make sure you view it in wireframe.
That's one way.
I'd rebuild it by hand (well not by hand really) by using the circle (ellipse?) tool and copying/stacking/slicing/dicing/welding/skewing.
Then type in the font and trim the shape to the font.

I would use ovals and the minus front mode in your Pathfinder palette to create the desired effect. That way your curves will be uniform. The logo you have looks like they were poorly handdrawn.

thanks ill try that,
im ok at tracing it, just got me thinkinking what sort of techneque was used to make the circles,

brands of the world dont have it yet.. but still im more interested in learning how to create the swish more than just cutting this logo.

would every arch be seperate or is the a way it was done as one the copied three times?
