how to type in zapfdingbats?

    I need the diamond, club, heart & spade.. I can't figure how to make them type out.. anyone know??

    Not very efficient, but hunt & peck and write down which key it was.

    yep - character map is the way to go -- alt+0168, alt+0169, alt+0170, alt+0171

    You can also type out all the keyboard characters, then do it again with the shift key held down, pick turn them into outlines/curves and pick out your stuff.

    They are outside the normal keystrokes -- so hunt and peck wont work

    What about the glyph pallet in Illy, or Insert character in Corel

    If you're using Corel, you can go to Text/Insert Symbol Character. It will bring up a docker with your font list in it. Just pick Zapf Dingbats and it will show every character in that font. You can just click and drag them onto your page in Corel.

    Thanks guys I was using the alt key plus the numbers but wasn't putting the "0" in the beginning..
