How was the CJ-500 as a cutter?

Found a cheap ESX-500 (From what I can find it was CJ-500 factory converted to eco, but it doesn't exist on Rolands website), looking to use it as a cheap backup cutter that's larger then 24" in case I get larger jobs.

It looks pretty dusty in the pictures, so I'm sure it'd need new ink, lines, pump and probably heads to print again.

Is it worth the $500cdn to buy it just for cutting? And maybe down the road try some refurb heads, etc, to get it printing.

Thread can be deleted (can't find an option to delete it myself).

Talked to the guy and it doesn't even power up, not worth paying 50x the scrap value.
