Hi there, well this is my first for every thing on the forum, did some looking around and things look cool. So I,m in BC, Canada , Deroche, just 2 hr east of Vancouver. I,m just getting into the sign business, haven't a name yet or any thing, And please don,t say get out before it,s to late. What I'm planning to do is more the 3d sign's I can carve with my home built cnc machine, Why I joined is more for advice, mentoring, idea and hope full I can do the same for others as I get better as I go, I think one of the biggest questions one ask,s are the priceing of jobs, I know at the start most my jobs will be at cost just for advertising. At the moment I am working to get a job for a large 4x8 sign for a restraunt that will de done at cost but the is tons of traffic passing by every day. It'll be an eagle with a nest, Restraunt is called eagle nest cafe.
I also do intarsia which I'm hoping to incorperate into some of my signs, do a search for intarsia if you never herd of it, it's a 3d inlay, way cool stuff. Guess this getting to long so ill save some for a nother day. thanks for letting me join the fun. Graham
