Howdy From TEXAS :)

I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and the company I'm employed by. I'm from Signtx located in Arlington,TX. The company been in business for 3 years at this location. I'm the new IT/PC Tech here.

In my first week I was asked to clean up and network the office. The Guy doing graphics had loaded the graphics and cutting PCs with his personal stuff (porno's, 60 + gigs of music, file sharing programs, 20 odd viruses, Trojans ect...) It was a real blast, he walked out and left the company high and dry, hence my post in the Help Wanted section :).

I was forced to learn the vinyl cutter ( Signjet Pro JX1130) and Flexisign over the weekend, fortunately we have some new Help , a guy with a couple years experience with both flexi and the vinyl plotter :Cool 2: . What a week :biggrin: :biggrin: . Thank you guys for your help in locating a new sign guy, you'll be seeing more of me and Lot's of N00b questions in the future!!

Sounds like you had a lot to learn and not much time in which to learn it.

Congrats on your new hire, I hope things work out very well for you!
And just a thought, had this guy never thought about an external hard drive??? I keep all my personal stuff, (NO porn) :wink: I.E. music, photos & such on my 160 GB external. Oh well, I guess not everyone understands office politics.

He had a DJ buisness on the "side" he burned up 2/4 cd writers in his year here. He didn't have a clue... and speaking of policy...I'm writing it now :)
