It would be interesting to find out what the the heaters on the printer will do the the heat-press material.

You be the guinea pig please!

The stuff we use has a lower transfer heat point than the temp of the curing heaters so we're not risking it.

It's for transfer onto leather & canvas, we ship it out to a client that does the heat pressing onto canvas we just function as their print vendor. I couldn't tell you much more then that.

Okay, thanks. I guess trial and error will yield benefits. I've got plenty of Sunbrella canvas here, as I make aircraft covers. Thanks for telling us you have something anyhow, something that seems to be working. I understand you have to keep the confidentiality of your Customer too.

Thanks for the comments,
On the hp you can set the temp to whatever setting you want for a particular job (at least with the onyx rip). I wonder if you could just use standard heat transfer material, and turn the heat down to below the melt point, and let it air cure?

We have been printing the Fellers heat transfer material for a client with no issues. It works fine on both ends. They just sent in some of the Rtape version, looks and feels the same, and we anticipate it to work as well.

The last time I called Fellers, they said they don't carry that anymore???

I've been using Quickprint from Imprintables Warehouse (Merchant Member) with no problem in an HPL25500. It's also one of the best heat transfer materials I've used with any printer.
