HP 360 Banding

Hey all!

I'm having a tough time today with banding on our new 360 Latex printer. It's really subtle, but it's definitely there. You can see it more on 8 pass, but lines just get tighter on 10 pass. It's just a subtle fluctuation from light to dark, horizontally, through the print. I've tried cleaning and aligning the print heads. From the test plots, the print heads seem pretty good. All the other tests that I've seen look pretty decent as well.

Any ideas as to what I should do?

What material? More passes may help. OMAS may need to wiped off or calibrated.

3M IJ35-20 Matte Calendered Vinyl. I noticed it yesterday when we first started printing on it. The job before was 32 vinyl banners, using 6pass, with beautiful quality. I'll try the 2 things you mentioned. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think I've seen that setting before. What does it do and where do i find it?

Are you serious?

He is running the L360 at 8-pass. 100% ink density is the limit.

More likely it is a feed adjustment.

Is it printing the correct length?

Most of the times you just need to change one of the heads.

It's tough because none of them are obviously bad.
