HP 360 output platen covers DIY

Just curious if anyone has come up with a DIY platen cover for the hp 360? the early machines did not come with them standard and they are very helpful when printing 2 sided banner.

They sent them (the new ones) out free if you asked. Have you not called and asked for them?
