The touchscreen on our HP 550 Scitex flatbed quit working. Difficult to find a replacement that isn't way overpriced compared to the value of the printer, however this printer is in great shape-it has more than paid for itself over the years. This would probabaly be a good deal for someone who has one already and needs (and has the space) for a parts unit, or if someone is wanting to repair the touchscreen, this is still a working printer. I bled the ink lines and cleaned the heads so that it can still be recovered-wrapped the head so that air wont get to it, and we have the roller tables and roll attachments that go with the printer as well. MAKE ME AN OFFER! We are in Hot Springs, Arkansas so we will have to arrange shipment, and we have considered that in making this post. We just want to see if anyone can use a parts printer or wants to repair it and utilize it before we scrap it. I also have quite a few replacement parts for this printer new in the box, the head board that holds the print heads, 2 heads, filters, roller assembly parts, all of it we will gladly send with the machine.
