I recently purchased an HP 570 printer in addition to an HP 370. It was a used machine not connected to any RIP by the time I checked the machine. Was able to print report and the printer was functional at this point.
When I moved it into my shop, I replaced some empty 3-liter cartridges, deleted old media profiles and because of no online profile for 3M IJ35C decided to copy a generic profile and create the profile from scratch.
Error 79.2:04 popped up. Restarted the printer and the same problem. I contacted HP support and they suggested making the hard drive recovery, uploading the latest firmware via USB drive, and trying again. I did HDD recovery and uploaded the previous version. The printer was running and I was able to clone media profiles. Only one weird message popped up when I was making color calibration - 58:04 - incompatible color sensor firmware version. The HP support team recommended doing HDD recovery again, unloading the latest version, and then, via the diagnostics menu, resetting the error 79.2:04. I did that and the printer nor failing with the error every time I am trying to clone a media profile or adjust it.
Somewhere during the process, I had an error 59.4:10. Looks like a hardware issue. On YouTube, I found a video with an older latex printer where a guy says that the cable connected to the print carriage sometimes becomes loose and reseating the cable can resolve the issue.
Any thoughts? I am totally lost and not sure what the next step is.
