hp designjet 5500ps print head question?

I just purchased a use printer at a great price.. however some of the print heads need to be replaced as the printer tells me... Can those print heads be recovered somehow?
and if so How would I go about it??

They are disposable. Bin them and fit new ones.

You can actually dab them onto a wet paper towel then dab onto a dry paper towel 10-15 times and that will get you extended life out of those heads.
