Our printer is not working correctly. We are having trouble with LM/LC.

Error is 58:10 "The printer's color sensor is not working well. Color reading operations may fail. If the problem persistsk call HP"

I have attached photos of the diagnostic prints. Any help is greatly appreciated!

the :10 generally denotes replace.

In the pic of the actual colour cal it looks like your scan axis extremely out. Are you having any other issues? noise or the likes?
Give the rail and encoder a clean and try again.

Ill have a guess that when it positioned the carriage above the solenoid to open the colour sensor it missed by a long shot.
Sensor never opened - 58:10

The Color Sensor ESP (spectrophotometer) of the printer is not working well. It could be any of the following problems:

  • Communication problem between the Color Sensor ESP
    (spectrophotometer) and Carriage PCA.
  • The color sensor shutter does not open properly
