I heard no "automatic feed" as well.
would the printer be a total pain to run without a "automatic feed"?

I have been told the same thing too, exact same printer just without the take up and media load tool. I just got a killer quote on one from North Light Color the other day. Tempting to get another one.

I just got a quote on a L26500 for 14,995 with 2 days of training and shipping. How much cheaper is a L26100? This company is a big dealer and I also got fantastic pricing on my ink and heads for my L25500. Ink is $125 and heads are $97. Anybody know of better pricing than that?

Every HP have automatic feed.
The media load tool what is not delivered with the L26100 is a utility to help loading very soft media like fabrics.
so the 26100 will automatically load paper, vinyl banner, & backlit material?
not something soft like fabric?

Itis possible to buy the loading tool separately. Withoutit, it will be hard to load very soft media.
