Question HP LATEX 54 CUTTER REFLECTIVE PROBLEMS

I HAVE A HP LATEX 315 PRINTER AND A HP LATEX 54 CUTTER. EVERYTHING DOES HOW IT SUPPOSE TO OPERATE EXCEPT PRINT AND CUT ON REFLECTIVE. IT WILL NOT READ THE BARCODE ON REFLECTIVE. ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM?

I Drink And I Know Things
Cut marks from other white printed vinyl cut jobs (see attached photo, cut into the crop mark so you can align) and place over reflective marks. The cutter reads the inside of the crop mark.
I have done this many of times on reflective material and when I dont have enough vinyl to complete the whole decal order.
