HP Latex 570 “Altered or Non-HP Certified Ink” Message

I’ve been using various HP Latex printers for a few years now, and I currently own two HP Latex 570s in my own print shop. One of them is in mint condition, while the other has definitely seen some wear and tear but still gets the job done. I’ve replaced almost every part on it, and it still prints and fires properly.

That said, after two years of ownership and numerous part replacements, I keep getting a pop-up message during color calibration that says, “An Altered or Non-HP Ink has been detected.” All my inks are genuine HP and sourced from Grimco, and even my technician agrees there’s no visible issue with color. We’ve just been ignoring it, but I’m curious if anyone else has had this same issue with the pop-up. Has anyone else’s HP Latex detected “altered/non-factory” ink even when all inks are verified, genuine HP cartridges? Would appreciate any insights!

I've seen it. HP can possibly remove it but I think it required full set of new ink.

Only real downside is you never have warranty on your printheads.
