HP Latex 700 64" Printer

Has anyone has this problem with their Latex 700? Smearing or Spraying when printing, making you have to reprint your print.

Looks like you have ink on the rollers in that area. but it looks consistent like its getting on the rollers..can you wipe them down with alcohol?

Really only thing I can come up with is static. Do you have the antistatic plate at the right end of the drive roller?

If the pinch rollers were dirty it wouldn't just start out in the middle of the job. It would be at the start.

It's not possible it was dirty already before printing?

I had a similar case. For whatever reason uncured ink was smeared in the diverter of media entrance. The only way is to remove it remove the complete diverter and clean it.

I have seen that with both of our 800's.
Seems like it happens when you leave a roll in the machine overnight/over the weekend.
The machine periodically wakes up and moves the media back and forth so the first couple of feet end up dirty.

Thanks for the reply. That happens every time ours goes to sleep. Did it stop after you remove the material at night?
