HP Latex L26500 prints wavy pattern ????

My HP L26500 (new in 2013) prints a wavy pattern on the front 12-24" or so of each print. The pattern has way less ink in the wavy area, it looks washed out.
I only notice this on 13oz banner material. I know it's not the temp because sometimes it prints fine. I am not sure why it would do this to only the front foot or so, then start printing fine after that. It also doesn't matter if it's the first print of the day or the 20th. It seems to be random.
Any thoughts?? I'll attach a photo...

It's the media. Try something else.

Stay as far away from Ultraflex as you can get.

On the other hand if you wipe it with alcohol and wiping off the plasticizers that have come to the surface you should be able to eliminate the ink coalescing.
