Really frustrated with HP; called them to order printhead caps; they sent me a form to sign and provide payment info (PO or Credit Card); opted for Credit Card and signed it; got an email saying, sorry, we don't take credit cards for parts orders. HELLO, YOU SENT ME A FORM SPECIFICALLY STATING THAT IT WAS AN OPTION, FOR MY SPECIFIC ORDER OF PARTS!!! Idiots!!! So, I will throw out the baby, WITH the bathwater in an effort to order these printhead caps for ANYWHERE on the planet that is not HP, just for spite. So, does anyone know where I can order HP Latex R1000 printhead caps?

Why you are in need of the fucking print head caps? They are coming always with new printheads. If you’d like to store your printheads outside the printer and you don’t kept the caps Wrap them in cellophane wrap.

Service station caps is K0Q45-67289. it contains 8 pieces. I don’t understand why you are so angry. So unhappy with your service partner? The unit itself doesn’t create that much trouble, if well maintained

Toto must have never had the joy of dealing with HP service department. By far one of the most frustrating things I have dealt with. Ditched all my HP equipment and will never go back.

Correct, the Service station caps for the printheads that are in the machine and at rest. Its just odd, because it's a consumable part and all the other consumable parts, like the cleaning roll, printheads, wipers, etc. are a simple and quick order online. But these caps, you have to call tech support and basically open a case; so its an initial call to HP, then receive an email, fill out a form, send it back, then, probably at least one more call to finalize it all; its a multi-day process that burns a lot of my time, when I could be . . . printing money!

I was not aware of this annoying process.
I’m working for a service partner and have most necessary parts in stock.
Why you are not buying from your local support company? They know you and your skills personally, and can provide tips and tricks accordingly. And maybe they propose an onsite if the task can be done way faster with an experienced technician. Because your time is an value.
