HP latex work printing technical papers like vellum or translucent bond?

We have printed a few rolls of vellum for an event for a client. His client wanted an far east feel for this function and we printed only black graphics / line art primarily and it worked out great using a paper profile. A good bit of it they used to cover commercial troffer fixtures. So yes it will work in our experience.

I picked up a sample book from HP at the ISA show and it's got a sample printed on "Offset Bond Paper". Looks really nice.
