HP Lubricant Oil

Hi All,

I'm just wondering where to get some of the lubricant oil that comes with the maintenance kits for the HP latex machines.

It says DB2-68 Lubricant oil on the front. Our supplier makes us buy the whole kit for $160 when all we need is the oil.

I use "KEMA GL-68" in the spray(500ml), it works great with our lx820 and it is cheap.

When setting up our HP machine the tech mentioned any oil that will not gum up, he mentioned gun or sewing machine oil.

office depot sells paper shredder oil... like 3 bucks for 10 years supply.

Even the oil for hair clippers/shavers works. Like someone else said, anything that doesn't gum up....tons of options out there cheap.

I have been looking for the correct oil for quite some time as well and just found that it can be ordered through Amazon. Here is the link:

Looks like other places, such as eBay, sell it as well. Not exactly a cheap product of course...

Just ordered replacement take up shaft hub and oil fro HP. Their oil is a synthetic and was $35.
