Software Help HP UV Flatbed using Onyx 18

I'm new to Signs101 and hope that it's all that it promises to be...we have an HP FB750 (with white ink option) and we run Onxy 18.
We're running vector pdf files on a dark substrate and we're getting very inaccurate color results.
Does anyone have experience using this combo?
