Need Help HPL25500 black not printing

My Hp L25500 just got a brand new set of printheads after a nasty printhead crash and now the black will not print. My printhead plot comes out perfect except for the black is missing and if it does print it only comes out in small dots. Any suggestions?

first make sure the print head is installed correctly, take it out put it back in. make sure all the caps they put on them for shipping have been removed. check the contact strip on the carriage is clean and straight. i have seen these strips move and not make good contact. i think some of those print heads they used a piece of plastic tape to cover the actual head area. check that.
