HTV- POP UP- Tent Graphics

Milestone

New Member
Hey, just checking to see what others are using for putting graphics in those 10'x10' pop up tents. I know you are to use HTV, but you are limited to the width of 15" - 20" and can be cumbersome when laying down a larger graphic.

Thank you in advance

We do a ton of these and outsource the tops all sublimated BEFORE they are sewn together.

Generally you can't sublimate on a finished top even if it's white as the waterproofing often causes it to warp at that higher temp. We've done it a few times though and it was okay.

We offer a quick turnaround version where we just use HTV (or now DTF) on solid colored tops that we stock. It's a pita to transfer the vinyl but you get the hang of it. Some companies do sell a heavier vinyl specifically for tents but we've never tried it. We try not to do huge logos as sometimes the application sheet/top plastic sheet on the dtf or vinyl will warp slightly during printing making it tough to keep everything perfect but if you're patient it's not bad. Not the most fun though.

It's better to have two people and a lot of room around your press.
