HVAC vs. SIGNS

I was looking for some information on my heating system, and ran across this website.

My favorite rule was #3

3. No pricing questions please

Only people who actually see your job can price it accordingly. There will be no pricing allowed in the public access areas of this site. Please do not ask for or give pricing comparative information.
Posts of this type will be deleted.

PS. They kicked me out when I asked for pricing information. I explained that I am a member of a professional sign forum, and that we quote price all the time. They said we must be idiots.

I just replaced my entire HAVC system a couple months ago. So far I am very happy with it.

I got it from Four Seasons Heating and cooling. I got a 10 year warranty on parts and labor and 5 year free maintenance. It a Lennox' Merit Series 13ACX Central Air and
Lennox' Elite Series G61 Two Stage High-Effency Furnace

check this video I did of it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGV6kyPK_ww

Why is a HVAC system covered under warranty for 10 years and a printer for 1-2.

A tiny Motor for a printer costs $750 and a giant motor for a HVAC $200.

You know when i think about Roland, Mimaki, Gerber, i get visions of guys swimming in piles of gold coins.

Did you know that the pricing forum isn't visible to anyone not logged in? I agree that the premium forums are a better place for such discussions, but at least non-members are not able to view any such discussions.

They might be right.

Yeah yeah, big joke Pat. While you sit down there in Alabama, all toasty warm.....Its getting pretty F'n cold up here in PA, and my furnace still isn't working.

I'm going to try to log into that HVAC site under a different name.

.

In a 25 mile radius of me, there must be 30 printers. In that same area, there must be 30,000 furnaces.

Unlike a printer, a furnace dosn't make you any money. Of course, when the temp. drops down to Zero, the printer won't keep you alive either.

just a few things to ponder...
